VetWords
From toes and knees to ulcers and zoonoses, VetWords is the guessing game for the weird and wonderful words we use in the clinic every day.
VetWords is the daily word challenge for your everyday practice vocabulary. Guess each day's word in 6 tries or less.
Instructions and clues are now further down this page.
A new word goes live every Sunday through Thursday at 8 PM ET.
Monday, January 20: 4 Letters
Click the "Daily Clue" dropdown for a hint—or skip it for an added challenge!
To begin, type a word in the top row of tiles. You only get 6 guesses, so use your first word to identify any vowels or commonly used consonants in the day’s word.
A tile turns green when the letter and placement are spot on!
A tile turns yellow when the letter is right but in the wrong place.
A tile turns gray when it’s not included in the word at all.
Letters gray out in your on-screen keyboard so you can narrow down the letters used in the right word with every guess.
Words get longer and more challenging as the week progresses, starting with an easier 4-letter word on Mondays and ending with an 8-letter zinger on Fridays.
Hint: Skip acronyms (like NSAID and SSRI) and focus on words to make your guesses count.
Monday, January 20: Anatomy
