In this 1-hour virtual webinar, Dr. Natalie Marks will review today’s prevalence of the 3 most common viruses in the kitten and cat population: FeLV, FIV, and FIP. The presentation will break down each virus, review the clinical signs of each, and share updates in diagnostic testing, treatment, and prognosis, specifically providing clarity around the importance of FeLV testing (what a negative or positive result means) and vaccination (why nearly all cats are recommended for vaccination against FeLV, at least as a kitten, even if it is going to be primarily indoor-only.) In the closing section, Dr. Marks will share strategies for veterinary clinics to help prevent these diseases, including vaccine recommendations guided by the most recent task force guidelines.
