About This Course
In the last decade, small animal microbiome research has generated a wealth of information, but it can be easy to become lost in translation from research to clinical practice. In this webinar, Dr. Linda Toresson will review the canine intestinal microbiota in disease and health and how it can be assessed and supported. Dr. Toresson will provide many practical tools in a clinical and case-based context. The presentation will also cover the clinical short- and long-term impact of antibiotics on the intestinal microbiota and why practitioners should try to avoid using antibiotics for these cases unless necessary.
