Every veterinary team member must be able to identify structures on blood smears and evaluate the quality of a blood slide. Cells must be correctly identified to help the veterinarian make his or her diagnosis of the patient. This image quiz will test your knowledge on cellular identification. All images were taken under the 100x objective in a blood sample stained with quick stains, which provide similar staining characteristics to Wright-Giemsa stains.
