Jacqueline Whittemore, DVM, PhD, DACVIM (SAIM), is an associate specialist in internal medicine at Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and a clinical associate professor at University of Tennessee, where she also served as the Acree Research Chair. Dr. Whittemore earned her DVM at University of California, Davis. She also completed a residency in small animal internal medicine and earned her PhD at Colorado State University. Her research interests are in effects of thromboprophylactics, immunosuppressants, probiotics, and antibiotics on the gut of dogs and cats.
