Oriana D. Scislowicz, LVT, aPHR, is a regional manager with CVCA-Cardiac Care for Pets. She graduated from Blue Ridge Community College veterinary technician school in 2011 after earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. Oriana practiced as a licensed veterinary technician in general practice settings, as well as in shelter, emergency, and neurology practices before moving into cardiology. She is currently on the Women’s Veterinary Leadership Development Initiative board of directors and Firstline magazine’s editorial advisory board. Oriana is passionate about veterinary practice management and is working toward her CVPM.
FUN FACT: Ori loves to travel with her husband and 5-year-old son. They explored Ireland this year and Iceland is on the agenda for 2019. She also lives with her 3 cats—2 Siamese and a puppy-like Tuxedo—named Gandhi, Clem, and Ollie.
