The View on Procedural Sedation from A to Zenalpha®

In this talk-show style panelist discussion, Dr. Jane Quandt, Dr. Tannetje’ Crocker, and Darci Palmer will share their views on procedural sedation, from A to Zenalpha®. They will discuss the goals of procedural sedation, define what procedural sedation really means in veterinary practice, and examine what drug selection factors the veterinary team should consider when sedating dogs, including healthy dogs and aging dogs with cardiovascular issues. They will also explore what drug options are available in our toolbox for procedural sedation and share a closer look at the innovative alpha-2 combination drug, Zenalpha® (medetomidine and vatinoxan hydrochlorides).
